Sokin's H1 2026 wrap-up: Nine releases built for speed, scale and control

Six months, one clear direction of travel: less friction and more control for you as you move money across borders. Each update in H1 focused on making your day-to-day financial operations faster and simpler, so you can spend less time managing tools and more time running your business.

In our H1 2026 wrap-up video, our Chief Product Officer Peter Daunton walks through what we shipped and why it matters for finance teams operating across borders, currencies and payment rails.

Here's the recap.

A new portal, a new pace

The Sokin portal underwent a complete rebuild, bringing faster performance, a cleaner UI, and simpler authentication. It means fewer clicks, faster logins, and one less thing standing between you and your money.

Build less. Scale more.

Sokin Platform is now live, giving you access to embedded agentic treasury and global financial infrastructure through a single API.

Instead of building payment and treasury infrastructure from scratch, platforms can embed global financial capabilities directly into your products.

That means a faster route to market, new revenue opportunities and a more seamless experience for your customers, all powered by Sokin behind the scenes.

Collect without the chase

Getting paid just got simpler. Sokin Checkout and Payment Links launched in the US with Adyen, while in the UK we expanded payment options with WeChat Pay and Alipay, giving businesses more ways to collect from customers in the markets they serve.

Instead of relying on invoices, manual bank transfers or lengthy payment instructions, businesses can generate a secure payment link or integrate Sokin Checkout directly into your customer journey. Whether you're charging for a one-off payment or accepting payments at scale, the experience is designed to be simple for both you and your customers.

Once a payment is made, confirmation appears directly within the Sokin platform, giving finance teams greater visibility and making reconciliation simpler.

Where fiat meets stablecoins

USDC and USDT on-ramps and off-ramps are now live. You can seamlessly operate across stablecoins and fiat within a single platform, so you can move between them as your business needs evolve.

Greater control over currencies

Sokin has launched its FX forwards pilot, letting you lock in a rate today and pay on the date you need.

For businesses managing international suppliers, payroll or future obligations, that means greater certainty when planning ahead and less exposure to unexpected currency movements.

Put your idle cash to work

Cash shouldn't stop working just because it isn't being spent. Sokin is preparing to launch an Easy Access Boost, giving businesses flexibility to deposit and withdraw funds when they need to, while putting idle cash to work in the background.

Designed to support day-to-day liquidity rather than lock funds away, it's another way Sokin is helping businesses make better use of their working capital without sacrificing flexibility.

Onboarding, without the wait

Getting live on Sokin has never been easier. Smarter checks, fewer information requests, and a smoother path from sign-up to transaction make it faster to start moving money.

Governance, built in

SOC 2 Type 2 certification, enhanced security, and enterprise-grade observability are now in place. When your business runs on Sokin, reliability and security come with it.

Bulk payments, overhauled

Bulk payments got a complete overhaul. Drop your file in, whatever format you use, map it to Sokin once, and you are done. That means less manual work, faster payments, and no reformatting headaches.

Built for what's next

That’s H1. Sokin has rebuilt the foundation, shipped capabilities that make a real difference, and extended its reach into new markets. But H1 was just the setup. H2 is the main event, so follow along to see what comes next.
