Sokin Appoints Former Corpay leader Christopher Morris as Chief Revenue Officer

Financial infrastructure company also appoints Benedict Kelly as Chief Product Officer and names Peter Daunton as Chief Strategy Officer

New York, Nov. 3, 2026 – Sokin, the financial infrastructure global business runs on, has appointed Christopher Morris as Chief Revenue Officer. Morris joins from Corpay Cross-Border, where he most recently served as Chief Growth Officer, Payment Solutions. At Sokin, he will lead the commercial organization worldwide, covering sales, onboarding, relationship management and revenue operations.

Morris is one of several new additions to Sokin’s executive team. Peter Daunton, previously Chief Product Officer, has become Chief Strategy Officer. Benedict Kelly succeeds him as Chief Product Officer and joins from issuer processing platform Thredd, where he was Vice President of Product Management. Taina Biggs joins as Vice President, Global Brand and Communications, from enterprise software provider MANTL, where she was vice president of marketing. Before MANTL, Biggs led communications across the Americas for Wise.

Morris has spent more than 20 years inglobal payments and foreign exchange. At Corpay, he created an embedded payments partnership line of business in North America. It began as an early commercial initiative and grew into a broader business that Morris was responsible for growing and scaling globally. That experience maps directly to how Sokin sells to customers today. Some businesses use Sokin directly to manage global finance in-house. Others embed it into their own products, offering multi-currency money movement to their customers on the licenses Sokin holds in more than 36 countries.

"What resonated most with me was Sokin's work on agentic treasury and building the infrastructure layer for financial institutions and fintechs," said Morris. "Throughout my career, I've developed a clear point of view on how financial infrastructure and cross-border payments should work, and I've long wanted to join a business willing to invest behind it. At Sokin, I can see that happening in real time in what the company is actually building."

Morris will lead Sokin’s commercial organization across the full customer journey, from the first sales conversation through onboarding, relationship management and long-term customer value. With embedded partner deals now accounting for 40% of new US revenue, he will extend Sokin’s go-to-market approach across regions, customer segments and channels.

“We’re building the financial infrastructure businesses use to transact, manage and optimize money, whether that’s a finance team running treasury in-house, a platform embedding us in its product or an AI agent acting on a company’s behalf,” said Vroon Modgill, founder and CEO of Sokin. “Chris has taken a partner business from a single region to a global one. As more platforms build Sokin into their own products, that’s exactly the experience we need running our commercial team.”
